New England Cricket Club ( NECC)

By participating in our cricket club activities, all members, including players, coaches, volunteers, and spectators, agree to abide by the following terms and conditions to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for everyone:

1. No Bullying Policy:​

   • This includes verbal, physical, and online behavior that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome.

   • Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the club 

   • Our club maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying, harassment, and discrimination o any kind.

2. Play at Your Own Risk:

   • Cricket is a sport that involves physical activity and inherent risks. All participants acknowledge these risks and participate voluntarily.

   • The club is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or incidents that may occur during practices, matches, or related activities.

   • Participants are encouraged to have personal health and accident insurance.

3. No-Sue Agreement:

   • By joining the club, members agree not to hold the club, its staff, volunteers, or affiliates liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages occurring during club activities.

   • This waiver covers practices, matches, travel, all club-organized events, and team selection decisions, including inclusion or exclusion from playing XI.

4. Respectful Conduct:

   • All members are expected to demonstrate sportsmanship, respect towards others, and uphold the club's values both on and off the field.

   • Abusive language, aggressive behavior, and unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.

5. Social Media Policy:

   • By participating in the club, players consent to the use of their photographs and videos for promotional purposes on the club's social media and marketing materials.

   • Players are prohibited from marketing their own or others' products through the club's social media platforms, chat groups, or any official communication channels.

6. Facility and Equipment Use:

   • Members must use all facilities and equipment responsibly and follow safety guidelines provided by the club.

   • Any damage caused by misuse may result in penalties or compensation requirements.

7. Parental Responsibility: (For junior members)

   • Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their children understand and follow club rules.

   • The club is not responsible for unsupervised children outside of scheduled activities.

8. Acknowledgment of Terms:

   • By participating in club activities, all members acknowledge and accept these terms.

   • Failure to adhere to the disclaimer may result in suspension or expulsion from the club.

The club is dedicated to promoting a positive and safe environment where cricket enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels can learn, play, and grow together. Thank you for helping us maintain our community standards and ensuring a safe experience for all!
